Freeport Pride, Inc. is a community organization providing youth and substance abuse services. The agency is a not-for-profit corporation, funded by grants from the Nassau County Youth Board, the New York State Office of Children & Family Services, the Nassau County Department of Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, and Developmental Disabilities Services, the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, the Village of Freeport, the Freeport Public Schools and by other smaller grants, corporate and individual donations, client fees and local fund raising.
Freeport Pride, Inc. is also a member of the United Way of Long Island. The agency drug treatment program is licensed by the N.Y.S. Office of Substance Abuse Services. Agency policy is determined by its Board of Directors, composed of interested community individuals.

 The 2012 Operation Pride Step Show
The Operation Pride Step Show highlights eight high schools competing at Freeport High School. The show includes step performances, team party walks, the O.P. Step Off, O.P. Dance, O.P. AV, and more. It’s the biggest and best high school step show on Long Island. Click for more.

 Signs of Nonviolence
Our purpose, in developing the Signs of Nonviolence campaign, is to promote nonviolence. We are inviting Nassau County youth programs, churches, community organizations, etc. to come together to spread a message of nonviolence.
